The objective of this Campo Demo is to show and compare every fungicidal strategy against Plasmopara viticola (downy mildew). It is a particular fungus that develops in hot and humid environments. Symptoms include irregular yellow spots on the upper surface of the leaves (that can brown because of necrosis) and white and dusty spots on the bottom surface. On the bunches, the fruit is covered by a white/grey dust and changes color from purple to a reddish-brown. We have tried several strategies and products, both biological and synthetic, to evaluate their effectiveness in controlling this pathogen.
